Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 

1. Researching organizations to find new customers and identify who makes the decisions
2. Cold calling to arrange meetings
3. Finding out what an organization needs and working with a team to plan proposals and pricing
4. Negotiating with customers and building positive relationships
5. Writing reports and making presentations to customers and senior management
6. Identifying new methods and opportunities for sales campaigns
7. Forecasting sales targets and making sure they are met
